Capital Medical Center’s Laboratory is staffed by personnel certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. The Lab is divided into four special sections, each of which deals with a different area of laboratory science: Chemistry, Hematology/Coagulation, Immunohematology and Microbiology. Laboratory technology and equipment at Capital Medical Center are constantly upgraded as new advances are made in the science of Medical Technology.
Laboratory Services are provided at Capital Medical Center to conduct tests on clinical specimens from patients. 70% of healthcare decisions are made based on information provided by Laboratory professionals.
The Laboratory Department is comprised of Technologists and Technicians who operate a variety of high-tech, state of the art analyzers and Lab assistants who are part of the Capital Medical Center direct patient care team.
The Laboratory at Capital Medical Center provides services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our goal is to exceed our patient’s expectations and experience.
With a commitment to quality and accuracy, Capital Medical Center’s lab is surveyed by The College of American Pathologists. All inspections are done with an eye toward assuring that the lab offers the highest possible quality of patient testing.
