Visiting Hours
Visitors can be good medicine for patients. Family members and friends are welcome to visit. However, patient care is our primary concern at Capital Medical Center, and, in order to enhance the quality of care, specific visiting hours and regulations have been established for each unit. The General Visiting Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Due to patient privacy requirements, any information about the patient’s diagnosis or treatment must come directly from the patient to concerned family members or friends. No information will be given out by the switchboard operator or nursing personnel. The patient may be reached by dialing (360) 754-5858 or toll free at (1-888) 677-9757 and asking for the patient by name.
Lobby Areas
There are specially-designated lounge areas for visitors on each patient floor and on the main floor in the lobby. Specific waiting areas have been designated for families of patients in the critical care units, the Emergency Department, Surgery, and Outpatient Registration. Capital Medical Center is fully equipt with wireless internet in all areas of the hospital to include the cafeteria, waiting areas, and patient rooms. This service is of great benefit to our patients and visitors and we are pleased to be able to offer it.
