  • April 1991 Name changed from Black Hills Community Hospital to Capital Medical Center

  • July 1992 - Ambulatory Center opened

  • February 1995 - Physician's Pavilion opened with 65,000 sq. ft. medical office space

  • April 1996 - Hospital became part of Columbia/HCA

  • October 1995 - ER/Registration opened

  • May 1997 - Radiation Therapy w/addition of Olympia Radiology

  • May 2000 - Parent company, Columbia/HCA became HCA

  • November 2005 - Hospital became part of Capella Healthcare

  • March 2006 - Interventional Radiology Services opened

  • Early 2008 - Radiation Therapy Services scheduled to open
