n Washington for Cardiac Care, Overall Surgical Care, Gastrointestinal Care and Orthopedic Care. 2012 is an extension of the quality ratings Capital Medical Center received in 2011. In 2011, the hospital received several Medical Excellence Awards and Patient Safety Awards for ratings of #1 in Washington for Spinal Surgery and Spinal Fusion. The hospital was also rated in the Top 10% nationally for Medical Excellence and Patient Safety in the following areas; Spinal Surgery and Spinal Fusion, Major Neuro-Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Women’s Health.
