Capital Medical Center is pleased to announce their national recognition for Medical Excellence and Patient Safety. According to the latest national scorecard compiled by The Delta Group’s CareChex Medical Quality Rating System, Capital Medical Center is ranked #1 in Washington and in the Top 10% in the Nation for Orthopedic Care and Major Neuro-surgery in 2012. In addition, the hospital has received Medical Excellence Awards in the following areas: Ranked in Top 100 Hospitals in the Nation for Orthopedic Care
Ranked in Top 10% in Nation for Hip Fracture Repair
In the area of patient safety, Capital Medical Center has been nationally recognized with Patient Safety Awards for Top 10% in Washington for Cardiac Care, Overall Surgical Care, Gastrointestinal Care and Orthopedic Care. 2012 is an extension of the quality ratings Capital Medical Center received in 2011. In 2011, the hospital received several Medical Excellence Awards and Patient Safety Awards for ratings of #1 in Washington for Spinal Surgery and Spinal Fusion. The hospital was also rated in the Top 10% nationally for Medical Excellence and Patient Safety in the following areas; Spinal Surgery and Spinal Fusion, Major Neuro-Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Women’s Health.
