Delisa Smith Appointed as Director of Emergency Services
July 20, 2010Capital Medical Center is pleased to announce that DeLisa Smith has recently accepted the position of Director of Emergency Services. Smith, who recently moved to Olympia from Pismo Beach, California, was previously employed by Twin Cities Community Hospital where she served as the Emergency Room Director for 4 years.
Smith received her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Community service has been a strong focus in Smith’s career having worked with the North County Women’s Shelter in a program called Back Pack for Kids. She was also involved in a program called First Aid for First Grade providing education and first aid kits to first graders.
Chief Nursing Officer, Lisa Moylan, states, “DeLisa brings a wealth of clinical expertise and knowledge to her new position. We are delighted to have her at Capital Medical Center.”
