Capital Medical Center Names Amber Miller New Chief Quality Officer
December 22, 2010Capital Medical Center is pleased to announce that Amber Miller has recently accepted the position of Chief Quality Officer. Miller, who recently moved to Olympia from Meridian, Idaho, was previously employed by West Valley Medical Center, an HCA facility. Miller received her Associates Degree in nursing from Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario, Oregon and her Bachelors Degree in nursing from Boise State University. She completed her Masters in Business Administration in 2006 from the University of Phoenix. Miller is a certified Risk Manager and has seven years in leadership. Community service has been a strong focus in Miller’s career having served on several boards including HELP (Healthcare Education and Leadership Program), a scholarship program for healthcare professionals and served as the Secretary for the Caldwell Salvation Army Advisory Board. Chief Nursing Officer, Lisa Moylan, states, “Amber brings a wealth of clinical expertise and knowledge to her new position. We are delighted to have her at Capital Medical Center.”
