Olympia Family Medicine Moves to Their New Location at Capital Medical Center
July 1, 2009Olympia Family Medicine has relocated to their new 7800 sq. foot office suite in the physician’s pavilion on the Capital Medical Center campus. The new location boasts 24 exam rooms with two serving as minor procedure rooms, as well as its own laboratory. Olympia Family Medicine’s new location promotes a structure for primary care that is a patient-centered medical home in the larger medical community and will be a huge benefit to patients as they will no longer have to travel to multiple locations for their diagnostic and specialty services. Michael Motte, Chief Executive Officer, stated, “We are excited to have Olympia Family Medicine located on the Westside. Olympia Family Medicine’s relocation is Phase I of Capital Medical Center’s plan in addressing the community need for primary care physicians and we are pleased to have two new doctors joining Olympia Family Medicine in the next few months.” Olympia Family Medicine includes Doctors’ Michael Boyd, Stephen Albrecht, Laurence Schadt, Quinton Nguyen, and Terry Rice, ARNP. In September Olympia Family Medicine will welcome Dr. Larisa Raastad, a family practitioner, and Dr. Shawna Adolphs, an internist, will join the group in October. Dr. Stephen Albrecht, spokesman for Olympia Family Medicine, commented, “We see this move as fundamental to moving Olympia Family Medicine forward as a leader in primary care services in the community for subsequent decades.” The office can be reached by phoning (360) 459-7282.
