Olympia Family Medicine is pleased to announce a new partnership with Capital Medical Center on Olympia’s Westside. This union will guarantee that Olympia Family Medicine can continue to provide quality medical care to patients in our growing community. Dr. Steve Albrecht, commenting on behalf of Olympia Family Medicine, said, “Olympia Family Medicine is enthusiastic about developing this relationship because it promotes a structure for primary care that is a patient-centered medical home in the larger medical community. This relationship will allow Olympia Family Medicine to attract new doctors in a shrinking pool of primary care physicians while patients have access to the best care from the doctors, who know them well, and avoid unnecessary costs and risks.” In mid 2009, Olympia Family Medicine will relocate to a new 7800 sq. ft. office suite on the Capital Medical Center campus allowing them to utilize the hospital’s advanced diagnostic imaging, clinical lab, and other outpatient services. This will be a huge benefit to patients as they will no longer have to travel to multiple locations for their diagnostics and specialty services.
